Sharing your birth year, I recall an outfit from 1973. Sepia birch tree photographic print slacks with brown high heel slick sole wax laced kicks, and a matching oversized collar long sleeve button down birch tree shirt neatly sectioned with a wide leather belt the kind with a metal rolling sleeve in the buckle. Wore this to go swinging on friend’s set, feeling pretty suave.

Love the soundtrack to your great writing. Some crazy shit. First piece takes me back to an after-school job at a tobacco wholesaler helping the owner’s wife with the books. She used to remove staples from invoices and throw them over her shoulder unknowingly pelting me in the head. 😂

Love this post so much. The stories, the writing, the compositions. I even went back and listened to the The Stylistics on YouTube! And then replayed the versions of Collusion. What an amazing song. And the ink blot art...everything just blew me away. A total immersion experience for me. Thank you!

I agree with Carl. Incredible storytelling. I feel like I am there every time. And I am appreciating the glimpses into your history and your journey. Its like we get to know you a little better every time. Assuming the autobiographical parts are true, and I don't mind if they are not. But you are weaving a broad and intricate picture. Its kind of like when TV evolved from standalone 30 minute episodes of shows with a laugh track, to multi episode, multi season extravaganzas with a long and forever unfolding story arc for every character.
