	The songs for Surrounded were mostly written in early 2012 & all demoed by March 2013. 

Portrait began as an idea called INIT 56, then was promoted to INSTR 8/19/12.

A take with first-draft words was recorded in January ‘13.

This second demo was made that February. This time I tried it a 1/2 step lower, down to C#, & slower, but with finished lyrics.
